This is a team assignment and the instructor will assign teams of 3 to 4 individuals to work on this assignment, depending on class size.Assignment InstructionsThis is a team Assignment and has three deliverables to the Dropbox. Review the Garage Apartment Project case (). The Garage Apartment Project covers building a two-car garage with an apartment/office on the second floor on your existing lot in accordance with applicable building codes. Prepare the following for the Garage Apartment Project:Network DiagramSchedule duration estimates for each activityActivity schedule in the form of a Gantt ChartDefinitive (roll-up/bottom-up) Cost Estimates based on the schedule duration estimatesUsing what you have learned from the text and the PMBOK Guide, complete the assignment for Part 1 by developing a Schedule/Cost Duration Estimate. Tools you can use include MS Project or MS Excel or GanttProject. GanttProject, which is a free and open source and can be found at the following link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ganttproject/.The download button can be found in the upper right hand corner. You can use one of these three tools for this Assignment.For part two, develop a schedule (in the form of a Gantt chart) using either MS Project or MS Excel. Be sure to include durations, time increments, and activity relationships for your predecessor and successor activities.For part three, build a Definitive Cost Estimate (Roll-Up Estimate) for the assigned rocket assembly project. Using the PMBOK as your guide, build your cost estimate based on your duration estimate to estimate the cost of the project. Ensure you have, as a minimum, durations that reflect task totals and match with deliverables, sub-task totals that are properly calculated and rolled up, work packages that total to sub-tasks correctly, levels of effort that reflect effort correctly, skill-sets that are totaled correctly, skill-set costs that reflect rates and man-hour totals, and the duration total matches the total of all skill-sets.Assignment RequirementsPart One (Duration Estimate):Durations reflect task totals that match with deliverables.Sub-Task totals correctly roll-up and calculate using spreadsheet formulae.Work Packages total to Sub-Tasks correctly.Correctly calculate levels of effort at the work package level.Part Two (Gantt Chart and Network Diagram):Correctly calculate resource leveled schedule in time increments from duration estimate.Correctly sequenced activity relationships for each task (if using Excel) or for each work package (if using MS Project or GanttProject).Part Three (Cost Estimate):Build on the duration estimate adding skill totals and rates.Correctly total skill sets.Correct calculate skill costs based on skill rates and man-hour totals.Test project labor duration by cross-checking skill totals with task totals.
