The point that you have discussed is the same I took for my challenge while communicating with others from different cultures. The language and interpretation barrier is indeed the challenging part for interpersonal communication. There are various of other examples that not only about joke if we sometime communication or arguing with someone they get the wrong meaning out of it and situation becomes intense and whole communication lost its meaning. I just wanted to ask you that what are you doing or learning to overcome this type of challenge? Because I am first learning culture and then their terminologies for communication.

I really appreciate that you have a lot of respect for other cultures and people that you are still learning to act good with them. I also have same challenge of communication because as we have discussed in the transactional model that after sending by the sender now it is the duty for receiver to decode the message and interpret it. The problem arises when someone don’t get the essence of talk and communication. I wanted to ask from you that there are so many cultures around us and it is very difficult to learn every culture and their values so what is your strategy for dealing with this issue?
